With a view to bring about awareness on the myriad risks associated pitfalls of tobacco consumption, Units of Red Horns Division joined hands with the local population across the length and breadth of Kokrajhar on 31 May. The activists included talks and lectures by Army medical officers on harmful effects of tobacco at various venues and joint rallies by soldiers, students, teachers and local villagers. The event witnessed people from all walks of life unite with the army soldiers in the fight against tobacco menace.
