A Forest Ranger at Borpani Forest Range in Kampur area under Nagaon on Saturday claimed the forest range is on the verge of destruction, thus, posing a severe threat to its natural habitat due to illegal encroachment.
As per latest data, stated by the forest ranger out of 3,173 hectares of forest land almost 2,212 hectares have been encroached by illegal encroachers in the area.
