The United People's Party Liberation (UPPL) has declared its first list of candidates for the upcoming BTC elections slated to be held on April 4. The list consisted of the names of 22 candidates including the party's president Promod Boro. The UPPL president is contesting in the Goybari constituency. The list also includes names of NDFB leaders and signatories of the recent Bodo Peace Accord Gobinda Basumatary , Ranjit Basumatary alias BR Ferenga . The BTC consists of 40 constituencies.
