The incident happened on the evening of Nov 14. Location was Maudarh village. In the Hnahthial District of South Mizoram. About 160 km from the capital city of Aizawl . 12 labourers were trapped in the rumble. 8 dead bodies were recovered till morning. They were collecting and removing boulders. YMA and local people helped with the rescue measures. Emergency Services, District Administration and Armed Forces helped in the rescue efforts.
