A deer was rescued at Fateki, Bokabill in southern side of Sootea on Thursday.
The deer was rescued by locals of Fateki, Sootea.
Locals have informed the forest department. Forest department officials rushed to rescue the deer.
Locals and officials suspect that the deer was coming from Kaziranga National park.
