A male leopard was caged in Sashoni Merbeel in Naharkatia on Thursday night.
The residents of Sashoni Merbeel and nearby areas in Naharkatia had anxious nights since past one week, informed local people.
Meanwhile, the Forest Department managed to tranquilize the leopard, the wild animal was caged.
