As we all know Kati Bihu or Kongali Bihu is closely related to agriculture. Every year Kati Bihu is celebrated on the first day of the Kati month in Assamese calendar, however, the situation in Nagaon's Samuguri is quiet different, from last several months local people residing in the areas of Gendhali, Padumoni, Bhoraguri in Samuguri are being spending sleepless nights due to the ongoing Man-elephant conflict.
