Following the decision of the Assam Government to hand over the cooking and distribution of the meals to NGOs in the state, the Tinsukia district's midday meal workers gheraoed an NGO named 'Ghanshyam Seva Samiti' on Thursday near Makum Road and took out a protest rally.
