An air of mystery has surrounded Sonari after the murder of Purnima Borbora, wife of Satyanath Borbora. According to her parents, her in-laws planned her murder due to dowry-related issues. In the light of this event, the Sonari Police arrested Purnima's husband, her father-in-law Bireshwar Borbora, and her brother-in-law Umakanta Borbora
