Following the recent acts of vandalism in Dibrugarh town on the day of Muharram September 10, young social workers under the supervision of Kamal Hazarika in Sonari under Charaideo District staged a protest on Thursday morning.
At least, three vehicles were vandalized during Tazia Procession in Dibrugarh on Monday.
The locals in Dibrugarh town alleged that the miscreants carried sharp weapons and hit what came their way in the presence of the police personnel.
On being contacted the Superintendent of Police, Dibrugarh, Subashini Sankaran said that three vehicles got damaged during the tazia procession and a case was registered in connection to the matter.
