GUWAHATI: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) took place at Kaziranga on Saturday. The meeting was presided over by ACA president Taranga Gogoi and attended by secretary Tridib Konwar, along with other officials and representatives from affiliated units.

The AGM reviewed player performances and assessed ongoing infrastructure development projects. A key focus was creating a comprehensive roadmap to nurture young cricketing talent in Assam.

Addressing the gathering, ACA Apex Council Members expressed satisfaction with the progress made and reiterated their commitment to the growth of cricket in the state. They acknowledged the unwavering support of cricket enthusiasts and pledged to continue their efforts to enhance Assam’s standing in Indian cricket.

In a significant development, six playing member units were granted permanent affiliation after meeting the criteria established by the ACA’s affiliation committee.
