NEW DELHI: Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz continued to occupy the top two spots in the latest ATP Rankings released on Monday, which will be used for this year’s Wimbledon 2025 draw.
Sinner and Alcaraz will be in the opposite halves of the draw at Wimbledon, just like the French Open where the two met in the final. The draw for this year’s grass Major will be held on Friday. Alcaraz, the two-time defending champion at Wimbledon, enters this year’s edition after clinching the Queen’s Club Championships title. He is on an 18-match unbeaten run.
Czechia’s Jiri Lehecka, who lost to the Spaniard in the Queen’s final, moved up five spots to 25th. Jack Draper, who went down to Lehecka in the semifinals, returned to his career high ranking of four which means that the Brit will not face either Sinner or Alcaraz before the semifinals at Wimbledon.
