With a six-wicket victory in the fourth game, India defeated England to claim their first-ever Women's T20I series.
The last match of the five-match series, which India now leads 3-1, is set on July 12 in Birmingham.
In a single Twenty20 International match held in Derby in 2006, India had defeated England. The 'Women in Blue' have since lost all of their home and away women's Twenty20 International series matches against England.

With five wickets between Radha Yadav (2/15), 20-year-old Shree Charani (2/30), and Deepti Sharma (1/29), spin was crucial to India's resounding victory on Wednesday, limiting the hosts to a respectable 126 for 7.
After that, openers Shafali Verma (32) and Smriti Mandhana (31) pursued brilliantly, putting on a 56-run partnership that set the stage for victory. With eighteen balls remaining, the guests overtook the target, completing an unforgettable evening.
The win gives India a much-needed lift as they prepare for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, which will take place here the following year.

"We are really grateful that we were able to do this (series win). I'm really proud of my team the way we played this series. It was really important to get that momentum and I'm really happy the way we all contributed," India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur said at the post-match presentation.

After giving England a record-breaking 97-run loss in the series opener, Kaur and company have been in scorching form. They then won by 24 runs in Bristol, which was England women's first-ever T201 loss at the stadium. The third T201 was a five-run loss for them.
