Guwahati: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) beat Assam Cricket Association by 244 runs in the U-16 three-day tie at Amingaon today. Assam Cricket Association bowled out 119 in their second innings. Barunjyoti played a good responsible knock and remained not out on 51. He faced 158 balls and there were two boundaries and two sixes in his innings. Bijoy Singh (22) was the other major contributor in the innings. Farhan Shahriar (5-30) came out with the best bowling figure for the visitors. It may be mentioned here that in reply to BCB's first innings total 431, Assam Cricket Association bowled out paltry 68 runs in the first innings yesterday and were forced to follow on.
