GUWAHATI: Assam maintained their good form in the Vijay Hazare Cricket and defeated Vidarbha by 7 wickets in Kolkata today. Chasing 262 to win in their 50 overs Assam reached the target in 47.3 overs losing three wickets. Captain Kunal Saikia (66) and Riyan Parag (55no) scored half centuries. Sibsankar Roy (46) was the other major contributor. Earlier Vidarbha were restricted to 261-9 in their 50 overs. While A Wadkar (69) was the top scorer, Rajjakuddin bagged 3-67.
