Guwahati: Navajyoti Club beat Gauhati Town Club by 2-1 in a well contested tie in the NN Bhattacharya Knockout Football Tournament at the Nehru Stadium here today. With this victory Navajyoti entered into the semi finals. After a goalless first half, Mintu Mech gave the lead to Navajyoti in the 50th minute and Balanstar Taro increased the margin in the 62nd minute. GTC reduced one through D Basumatary in the 75th minute.
