Jamshedpur: Javi Hernandez netted in the dying minutes of the match to hand Jamshedpur FC a 2-1 win over Mohun Bagan Super Giant in the Indian Super League semifinal first leg at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Thursday. The two teams play the second leg in Kolkata on April 7.
Hernandez arrived into the box in the 90+1st minute to side-foot Ritwik Das’ pass to hand the Red Miners an advantage in the tie.
Earlier, Javier Siverio gave the Red Miners the lead in the 24th minute courtesy a header, while Australian forward Jason Cummings unleashed a dipping shot from a free-kick to restore parity. Agencies
