GUWAHATI: The finals of the All Assam Junior and Elite Inter-District Boxing Championship have been postponed by a day due to the intense heat in the city. The championship, being held at the Ulubari Boxing Club in collaboration with the Assam Amateur Boxing Association (AABA), was originally scheduled to end on Sunday. However, considering to avoid the strain of playing multiple bouts in a single day, the organisers have extended the tournament by one day. The organizers informed the media that the finals for all categories — including Junior Boys and Girls, and Elite Men and Women — will now be held on Monday.
