GUWAHAT: Ankurjyoti Club triumphed over Santipur Athletic Club by 7 wickets in the Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship match held at Jagiroad on Saturday.
Santipur Athletic Club, invited to bat first, was bowled out for 110 runs in 32 overs. Raju Kumar Sah was the top scorer with 47 runs, while Aniket Agarwal contributed 25 runs. Sangeet Das and Akash Basfor shone with the ball, each claiming three wickets.
In response, Ankurjyoti Club chased down the target in just 15.5 overs, losing three wickets in the process. Damien Sereng played a crucial knock of 39 runs, while Manas Gupta remained unbeaten on 36 runs to guide his team to victory.
