GUWAHATI: The Assam Cricket Association on Saturday condoled the death of former cricketer and coach Utpal Kalita who expired yesterday in a road accident. In a condolence message the president Ramen Dutta and secretary Devajit Saikia said that Kalita was good cricketer, coach and organizer. He had immense potential and could have contributed a lot to the development of cricket in Assam. A condolence meeting was also held at the ACA stadium where curators and ground staffs along with the officials paid tribute to Kalita.
