GUWAHATI: The match between Assam and Gujarat in the Vijay Hazare Cricket tournament was abandoned without a ball being bowled. Heavy shower in Chennai made the ground condition very poor and the umpires, after the second inspection, decided to abandon the tie. Both the sides collected two points each from the game. Meanwhile at Alur in Bengaluru, Goa lost to Mahrashtra by 5 wickets. Krishna Das, who turned up for Goa this season, collected 1-46 during his eight-over spell.
