GUWAHATI: Assam Hockey suspended training to its all affiliated units and academies till April 30. The decision was taken keeping in mind the surge of COVID-19.
The Secretary of the Assam Hockey Tapan Das said that the graph of new cases in COVID-19 is going up every day in the State. Time has come to take all kind of precautionary measures so that players are not infected.
He added: "All types of training including academies and district levels would remain suspended till April 30. It may be extended if necessary."
