GUWAHATI: Assam lost to Chhattishgarh by 32 runs in the Women U-23 One Day tournament tie held at Chennai today. Rode on a good knock from Shivi Pandey (88, 114 balls, 4X11) Chhattishgarh, chose to bat, scored 196-9 in their 50 overs. Rashmi Dey (3-22) and Kakoli Saikia (3-40) bowled well for Assam in the match. Assam bowled out 164 in 49.3 overs. Opener Ruhina Pegu (51, 69 balls, 4X8) scored half century while Rashmi Dey (30) was the other major contributor.
