GUWAHATI: Assam were struggling to chase the small first innings score of Tripura in Vijay Merchant Cricket at Surat today. Chasing Tripura's first innings total 135, Assam were 66-5 in their first innings at stumps on day I. Mahadananda Borah (22) was the top scorer. Earlier, Mohit Thakur (4-12) and Dyutimoy Nath (3-40) bowled well for Assam.
