GUWAHATI: Assam swimmer Astha Choudhury added another feather to her cap by winning her second gold medal at the 78th Senior National Aquatic Championship held in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. Astha, represented RSPB, secured the top spot in the women’s 200m butterfly event with an impressive time of 2:20.63. This victory follows her earlier gold medal performance in the 100m butterfly. In another achievement for Assam, swimmer Bikram Changmai, who also represented RPSB in the competition, claimed two medals on Tuesday. Bikram won the silver in the men’s 200m butterfly with a time of 2:02.13. He was also part of the RPSB team that secured the bronze in the men’s 4x100m medley relay.
