GUWAHATI: A book named ‘Asian Gamesot Axomor Kheluoi’ was released in a brief function held in the city today. The author of the book is senior sports journalist Bipul Barman. Two renowned sports figures in Assam-Asian Games medal winning shooter Joydeep Das and former international athlete Tayabun Nessa attended the function and also addressed the gathering. The book is compiled with detailed information on the athletes from Assam who represented India in the Asian Games till 2018.
Senior official of the Assam Olympic Association Bishnuram Nunisa, and two senior sports journalists Pulin Saha and Jayanta Das also attended the event.
