GUWAHATI: The secretary of the Assam Cricket Association Devajit Saikia, laid the foundation stone of a cricket pavilion at Biswanath District Sports Association playground today. The function was also attended by Promod Borthakur, MLA, Biswanth LAC, Tridip Konwar, Treasurer, Assam Cricket Association and Apurba Kumar Das, President, Biswanath District Sports Association. The construction of new cricket pavilion is the part of ACA's initiative to develop cricket infrastructure across the State. Apart from the pavilion, ACA will also develop ten cricket pitches in the same ground and the project is expected to complete within the next 4-5 months.
