GUWAHATI: Former sports organizer and curator Zulkarnaine Maizul Haque passed away at Jorhat yesterday. He was 85 and left behind wife and three daughters. Haque, who was the former Headmaster of Puja Utua Dubi LP School had also acted in an Assamese film, "Ronga Police." Assam Cricket Association mourned the death of Haque. In a release the president and the secretary of the Association Romen Dutta and Devajit Saikia said that the demise of veteran sports organizer created an irreparable void in Assam cricket.
