Haider elected unopposed as Hockey Arunachal president

It was declared by former session judge and former SIC Goto Ete, who was the returning officer of the election of Hockey Arunachal

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh information commissioner Gumjum Haider has been re-elected unopposed as the President of Hockey Arunachal with Sonam Tenzing and Hillang Nima as Secretary and Treasurer of the sporting body, for another four years term.

It was declared by former session judge and former SIC Goto Ete, who was the returning officer of the election of Hockey Arunachal. Tapan Kumar Das, member of board of Hockey India attended the election process as national observer representing Hockey India and Boni Liruk, the representative of the Director, Sports Authority of Arunachal, attended as state observer on behalf of state government.

Goto Ete has been declared elected unopposed as senior vice president, Gona Niji, Techi Depung, Thomas Dakpe and Ajay Matem as vice presidents.

Issaac Nabum, Api Pale and Tallo Api were elected unopposed as joint secretaries with Likha Tebin as executive member, a press release informed.
