GUWAHATI: The NFRSA, Maligaon Self Defence Martial Arts Academy emerged as champions in the recently concluded 22nd Sub-Junior, 22nd Junior, and 29th Senior Kamrup (M) District Wushu Championship. The event was held at Narengi.
Organized by the Bonda Wushu & Self Defence Martial Arts Academy and Lachit Yuba Bikash Kendra under the Kamrup (M) District Wushu Association, the championship saw participation from 240 athletes and 30 officials representing 23 affiliated clubs of Kamrup Metro District.
NFRSA Academy secured the top position with an impressive haul of 22 gold, 16 silver, and 8 bronze medals. Chatribari Martial Arts Club claimed second place with 16 gold and 2 bronze medals, while the host, Bonda Wushu & Self Defence Martial Arts Academy, finished third with 10 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze medals.
