Guwahati: The NF Railway Sports Academy (NFRSA) dominated the first All Guwahati Inter-Academy Prize Money Basketball Championship, winning the top honours in all categories -- U-14 and U-17 (boys and girls in both categories) on Thursday.
The Hengrabari Basketball Club (HBC) also shone in the tournament with its team notching the runners up trophy in U-14 boys and girls, and U-17 girls categories.
Kendriya Vidyalaya, Narengi (KVN) took home the runners up trophy in U-17 boys category.
The three-day meet was organized by the NF Railway Sports Association (NFRSA) at its Basketball Academy Complex in Maligaon.
Chief Public Relations Officer, NF Railway, Kapinjal Kishore Sharma and Assistant Sports Officer Rajesh Bora gave away the trophies to the winners and runners up teams. NF Railway Basketball Academy in-charge Mayupankhi Saikia and NF Railway basketball team secretary Rajib Bora were also present on the occasion, a press release said.
