GUWAHATI: OIL lifted PSPB Inter Unit Football title defeating ONGC in the final held at the Nehru Stadium here today. The fate of the game was decided by a solitary goal which was scored by Akrang Narzary at the dying moment of the 90 minutes encounter. In the third position deciding match IOC defeated HPCL by 4-1.

While Milan Basumatary of Oil collected most promising player of the tournament award, Rahul Changmai of HPCL bagged best player of the tournament award. NRL 'A' received the Fair Play Trophy.

The award ceremony was attended by Rameswar Teli, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, as the chief guest. The other dignitaries present on this occasion were VP Singh, Head of Sports, ONGC ,Suman Goswami GM (Marketing) NRL, Nikunja Borthakur, SCGM (CA) NRL, Kajol Saikia , CGM (HR & Legal) NRL , Lalit Kumar Watts , Advisor PSPB , Subrata Das , CGM (Mktg.) NRL and Gautam Vadehra, Joint Secretary, PSPB.
