GUWAHATI: NF Railway SC defeated Navajyoti Club 1-0 in the R G Baruah Super Division Football League at the Nehru Stadium here today. Jitu Ahmed scored the all important goal of the match in the 19th minute. Meanwhile, a ten men Narengi SC earned victory against Rajbari Club in the Jibeswar Goswami (Gopal) A Division Football League. Narengi was down to 10 men in the second half when Rahul Das left the ground getting second yellow cards. Narengi however fought well and got the winning goal in the 82nd minute through Chandan Brahma.
Tomorrow's match: FC Green Valley vs Assam Police Blues (Super Division) and Frontier Club vs Metro SC (A Division).
