GUWAHATI: Assam made good come back in the Vijay Merchent Trophy and drew their tie against Odisha in Cuttack on Sunday.
After conceding 57 runs first innings lead Assam batsmen displayed good performance in the second innings and took their score to 261/5 before declared. Nihar Narah (60) and Shivam Mittal (69no) scored half-centuries. Odisha was 41-0 when the game came to an end.
