GUWAHATI: WER NorthEast Cricket Centre beat Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre by 7 wickets in the Mahabir Prasad Agarwal Memorial U-16 Inter Coaching Centre Cricket Tournament, organized by Guwahati Sports Association, at Judges' Field today.

Winning the toss batting first, Guwahati CCC could score 151 in 39.2 overs with the help of Kaustabh Mahanta's unbeaten 39 runs. Ayushman Malakar grabbed 4 wickets for 22 runs. In reply, WER NE CC reached the target in only 16.3 overs losing 3 wickets. Rajbir Singh played a blasting innings of 94 in 43 balls with 15 boundaries and 2 sixes.

Tomorrow Gauhati Town Club will face River Rine Cricket Centre.
