London: Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is back to working from home, the club confirmed on Thursday after he had tested positive for coronavirus last week.
“We’re pleased to say that Mikel is feeling much better. He’s in good spirits, doing detailed planning with the coaches and speaking to the players regularly,” Arsenal said in a statement.
The Arsenal squad went into self-isolation for 14 days after the Spaniard’s diagnosis.
Meanwhile, the English Football Association (FA)) has announced that the suspension of all forms of the professional game has been extended till April 30. The announcement was made after officials of the FA, the English Premier League, the English Football League, and the women’s professional football held a meeting. IANS
