Guwahati: Riyan Kashyap of Assam lifted the doubles event title in the Boys U-16 years in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament which concluded at the DKS stadium, Kolkata yesterday. In the final Riyan partnering with Sounak Chatterjee of Kolkata defeated Mayand Tewari and Shaurya Swarup of West Bengal who conceded the match.
In the singles event Riyan lost in the semi-final to the top seed Mayand Tewari of West Bengal in straight sets 3-6, 4-6.
