LONDON: Carlos Alcaraz stayed on course for a third straight Wimbledon title as the Spaniard defeated British qualifier Oliver Tarvet 6-1, 6-4, 6-4 in the second round at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday.
Second seed Alcaraz will be up against either 25th-seeded Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime or Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff in the third round.
