GUWAHATI: As a measure against coronavirus and also to create awareness among the masses, AASU (All Assam Students Union) president Dipanko Kumar Nath and general secretary Lurinjyoti Gogoi on Tuesday appealed to the AASU members to sanitize all rural areas across the State where government machinery is yet to reach out.
Adding that while doing so, the AASU members must follow all necessary guidelines, and also obtain permission from the respective district administrations, the members have been also asked to use the fertilizer-spraying machines and the government recommended chemicals for sanitization. They have also been urged to extend all help for the needy people, in forms of essential items and medicines during the lockdown period.
