GUWAHATI: The Asom Gana Parishad, an alliance partner in the BJP-led Government in Assam will stage a massive demonstration in the city on October 23 against the Centre’s move to pass the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016. The decision was taken during a meeting of office-bearers of AGP held here on Monday evening under the chair of cabinet minister and the party president Atul Bora.
