Assam above National Average in CBSE X & XII Results

84.14 per cent of class X students and 86.32 per cent of class XII students passed the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) examinations 2024-25

GUWAHATI: 84.14 per cent of class X students and 86.32 per cent of class XII students passed the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) examinations 2024-25, respectively, from the Guwahati region that covers the students of eight northeastern states. The CBSE declared both the results today.

However, Assam fared well in both class X and XII results, registering pass percentages above the national average.   According to the CBSE, the 84.14 per cent success rate in class X from the Guwahati region is the lowest in the country. The Trivandrum region topped the chart with a 99.79 per cent success rate.

In Assam, 22516 of the 23668 candidates who appeared in the Class X came out successful, the pass percentage being 95.13, which is above the national average of 93.66 per cent.

In class XII, 53212 of the 63635 candidates who took the examination came out successful from the Guwahati region. In Assam, 16724 of the 18497 candidates taking the examination came out successful, the pass percentage being 90.41, which is above the national average of 88.39 per cent.
