Guwahati: The Assam Assembly today passed the State Budget 2025-26. The House also passed the Assam Cattle Preservation (Amendment) Bill, Srimanta Sankardev University of Health Sciences (Amendment) Bill, Bongaigaon University (Amendment) Bill, Jagannath Barooah University (Amendment) Bill, Nagaon University (Amendment) Bill, North Lakhimpur University (Amendment) Bill, Sibsagar University (Amendment) Bill, Swahid Kanaklata Baruah State University (Amendment) Bill, Kokrajhar University (Amendment) Bill, Maa Kamakhya University Bill, and Swami Vivekananda University Bill.
