GUWAHATI: The Assam cabinet today gave its approval to the hike in the incentives of ASHA workers and ASHA supervisors.
From October 1, 2025, an ASHA worker will get a fixed monthly honorarium of Rs 4,000 against the existing Rs 3,000, and an ASHA supervisor will get Rs 10,200 against the existing Rs 9,000.
The Cabinet also approved the allotment of land under Mission Basundhara 3.0 to 1011 educational, religious, and socio-cultural institutions and also 146 government educational institutions. The cabinet has also approved the proposal to rename the Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA), as the Assam Pollution Control Board (APCB).
