GUWAHATI: Even as the flood situation improved slightly in the state, the Brahmaputra and the Beki rivers are still flowing above their danger level.

According to the report of the CWC (Central Water Commission), the Brahmaputra is flowing above danger at three stretches: Neamatighat in the Jorhat district, Tezpur in the Sonitpur district, and Dhubri. The Brahmaputra maintains a rising trend in Dibrugarh, Neamatighat, Goalpara, and Dhubri. The Beki River is also flowing above the danger at the Road Bridge in the Barpeta district.
