GUWAHATI: The State Health Department has achieved another milestone by administering over three crore Covid-19 vaccine doses. According to official statistics, the medical fraternity administered 3,01,62,442 Covid-19 vaccine doses – 2,04,73,844 first doses and 96,88,598 second doses – till 8 pm today. On Sunday alone, the medical fraternity administered 63,389 vaccine doses from 1,823 vaccination sites in the state. Health Minister Keshab Mahanta appealed to those who have not taken the Covid-19 vaccine to come forward and take the jab.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that this is a solid step towards realizing the Prime Minister's resolve to make India Covid-free. "Gratitude to doctors and healthcare workers," he tweeted.
