Thunderstorms and lightning are very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya & Nagaland. Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam.

According to the RMC, the primary reason for the weather upheaval is the upper air cyclonic circulation over north Bangladesh and neighbourhood now lies over south Assam at 1.5 km above mean sea level.
