GUWAHATI: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID), on Wednesday, grilled five persons in connection with a case registered against them during the anti-CAA agitation.
The persons are – former Congress MLA from Thaora constituency Sushanta Borgohain; Dr Arup Talukdar, an intern from Government Ayurvedic College, Jalukbari; Manoj Kumar Bharali, president of Duliajan Youth Congress; Prasanta Agarwal, a student; and Kangkan Sarma, a businessman.
Though two other persons — Bishnujyoti Saikia and Sanju Baruah – had also been summoned, they did not report for the interrogation.
