GUWAHATI: The Congress has expelled Lakhipur MLA Rajdeep Gowala and former Borkhola MLA Rumi Nath from the party for six years for, what it said, indulging in anti-party activities. While Gowala's expulsion order was issued by AICC (All India Congress Party) general secretary KC Venugopal, the expulsion order of Rumi Nath was issued by APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) general secretary (organization) Ranjan Bora.
