GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for today’s approval for the Green Field High Speed Corridor. Post-Advantage Assam 2.0, the huge investment and infrastructure push to transform Assam continues. This first in a series of motorways will criss-cross Assam. This corridor will reduce travel time between Guwahati and Silchar by over 50 per cent and revolutionise connectivity to Barak Valley.
