TINSUKIA: Following a landslide and formation of a barrier lake on Yarlung Tsangpo in China’s Tibet region and possibility of large-scale floods in the event of its breakage, the Tinsukia district administration in a press release has advised the people in the riverine areas of Tinsukia district not to venture into river Brahmaputra and its tributaries for fishing, swimming and collection of driftwoods.
